HD Tube Plugs

These aluminum plugs are designed to press into the end of 3/16" diameter, .035" wall thickness DOM steel tubing, commonly used for custom builds like chassis or bumpers. The plug has a minor OD of .116" for a tight fit in most tubes, though fit may vary depending on tubing tolerances. These plugs are made to be a press fit, requiring a light tap with a soft hammer to install, however due to distortion from welding your tubing tolerances may change. Drilling the end of your tube with a 3mm drill and using adhesive such as CA glue or Loctite 638 retaining compound will secure the plug in place.
